| About the Show |
| Another Day In Paradise explores one woman’s attempt to juggle it all. After getting married, having children and moving to the “burbs,” Patrice tries to balance her dreams of a career in the theatre with the reality of her frenetic daily life. Based on their true stories and showcasing the dynamic vocal talents of Tracey Marble, Laurie Sondermeyer and Trisha Turiano, Another Day In Paradise is a comic, and often poignant, ninety-minute look at a woman’s life, loves, and choices. |

A Note From the Director |
The genesis of Another Day in Paradise began in January 2003. Phil Hall, vocal coach, had sessions with three different students one day, who all seemed to be in similar “life” situations. They were extremely talented singers of a similar age whose theatrical careers had been eclipsed by family life in suburbia. Their passion to sing and express themselves brought them to him and Manhattan. Realizing there was something theatrical in this notion, group conversations were held and taped with the ladies. The similarities and parallels were amazing. They searched for appropriate songs to help dramatize their shared experiences and Karen Randazzo was enlisted as the book writer to assemble all the material into a cohesive whole. She decided to merge their |
| experiences into one woman’s journey - though played by three actresses. Eventually, Tracey Marble wrote some original songs to heighten the story, as well. Though dramatic license has been taken…the actresses (in this cast) have lived this story, as they were the original contributors.
